Souper Bowl of Caring was created to use the energy of the Super Bowl to mobilize youth in a united national effort to care for people in their local communities who are hungry and those in need.
Last year, with support and donations from our congregation, the Students of FIREHOUSE YOUTH collected over 600 non-perishable food items and $1,735 in monetary gifts! The food was given to the Wilson Area Food Pantry, that operates out of the West Lawn Community Center; and the money was presented to New Journey Community Outreach.
This year, the Students have a goal to beat last year’s numbers & to collect even MORE for those in need! But we need YOUR help!
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd – Students will be present at all 4 Services to collect your monetary gifts & your non-perishable food items.
We thank you in advance for being apart of this amazing event!
